Product Description	Isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a soluble, cytosolic enzyme involved in the TCA metaboliccycle. Mutations in this enzyme have frequently been identified in astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, and oligoastrocytomas as well as in secondary glioblastomas. IDH1 mutationsare found much less frequently in primary glioblastomas. The IDH1 mutations are highly specificto a single codon in the conserved and functionally important Arg132 in IDH1.
