CD11b is a CD11 integrin receptor family protein. Its structure is a heterodimer of non-covalently bound α and β subunits. CD11b has the same beta chain (CD18) as CD11a and CD11c. CD11b can recognize the RGD peptide in C3b and can act as an iC3b receptor to mediate iC3b to regulate particle phagocytosis, regulate the absorption of supplementary coated particles and pathogens, and can also promote monocytes, macrophages or granules through regulation and chemotaxis Cell aggregation or adhesion of cells. CD11b is also a receptor for fibrinogen, factor X and CAM1. It can recognize the P1 and P2 peptides of the fibrinogen gamma chain and regulate the migration of neutrophils.
