Product description
Factor XIII (Factor XIII) is the last protease activated in the coagulation cascade. Coagulation factor XIII is composed of 2 A subunits (F13A) with catalytic function and 2 non-catalytic B subunits (F13B). Coagulation factor XIII is the zymogen of fibrin ligase, which is a kind of transglutaminase, which can catalyze the formation of γ-glutamyl-ε-lysine cross-linking reaction between fibrin chains, thereby stabilizing the fibrin clot. Therefore, factor XIII plays an important role in maintaining hemostasis.
