HOXB3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 118-148 amino acids from the Central region of human HOXB3.

This gene is a member of the Antp homeobox family and encodes a nuclear protein with a homeobox DNA-binding domain. It is included in a cluster of homeobox B genes located on chromosome 17. The encoded protein functions as a sequence-specific transcription factor that is involved in development. Increased expression of this gene is associated with a distinct biologic subset of acute myeloid leukemia (AML).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and FLISA. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Store product at 4°C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4°C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.

Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
