LCN9 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 43-72 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human LCN9.

Members of the lipocalin family, such as LCN9, have a common structure consisting of an 8-stranded antiparallel beta-barrel that forms a cup-shaped ligand-binding pocket or calyx. Lipocalins generally bind small hydrophobic ligands and transport them to specific cells (Suzuki et al., 2004 [PubMed 15363845]).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Indirect Flow Cytometry, ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:1, 000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Indirect Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
