SMAP2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 110-140 amino acids from the Central region of human SMAP2.

SMAP2 is a GTPase activating protein that acts on ARF1. Can also activate ARF6 (in vitro). May play a role in clathrin-dependent retrograde transport from early endosomes to the trans-Golgi network (By similarity).

Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, ELISA

ELISA: 1:1, 000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:10-50

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
