Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2, 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.

Recombinant protein corresponding to aa168-369 from rabbit FGFR4, expressed in E. coli. The target protein is fused with two N-terminal tags, His-tag and T7-tag.

FGFR4 is a member of the fibroblast growth factor receptor family, where aa sequence is highly conserved between members and throughout evolution. FGFR family members differ from one another in their ligand affinities and tissue distribution. A full-length representative protein would consist of an extracellular region, composed of three immunoglobulin-like domains, a single hydrophobic membrane-spanning segment and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Western Blot: 1:100-400
Immunocytochemistry: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry (frozen): 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin sections): 1:50-200

Positive Control Included:
140294A: supplied in loading buffer (100mM Tris, pH 8.8, 2% SDS, 200mM sodium chloride, 50% glycerol, 0.01% BPB, 0.02% sodium azide).
Use 10ul per well when using DAB as a substrate and 5ul per well when using ECL.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
