Recombinant protein corresponding to human B7-H2

B7-RP1 is a 40kD protein, also known as ICOS ligand, B7-H2, and B7h. It has recently been clustered as CD275. It is a member of the immunoglobulin receptor superfamily expressed on splenic B cells, dendritic cells and macrophages. The expression of this antigen is increased by TNF-a stimulation and is highly upregulated by local inflammation. B7RP1 binds to ICOS and co-stimulates T cell and B cell responses. Two isoforms of this protein have been reported to occur as a result of alternative splicing. These isoforms show differential tissue distribution.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Neutralization and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:500-1000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
