Full length human Rad54 protein

The protein encoded by the RAD54 gene belongs to the DEAD like helicase superfamily and shares similarity with Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAD54. RAD54 has been shown to play a role in homologous recombination related repair of DNA double strand breaks. The binding of this protein to double strand DNA induces a DNA topological change, which is thought to facilitate homologous DNA paring and stimulate DNA recombination.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 Ag.14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
