MaxLight™ 550 is a new Yellow-Green photostable dye conjugate comparable to Alexa Fluor™546, 555, DyLight™549 , Cy3™, TRITC and offers better labeling efficiency, brighter imaging and increased immunodetection. Absorbance (550nm); Emission (575nm); Extinction Coefficient 150, 000.

Microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP2) is a protein that belongs to the microtubule-associated protein family. MAP2 is involved in microtubule assembly, which is an essential step in neurogenesis. The products of similar genes in rat and mouse are neuron-specific cytoskeletal proteins that are enriched in dendrites, implicating a role in determining and stabilizing dendritic morphology during neural development.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry (Not Tested), Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
