Synthetic peptide corresponding to aa120-130, YQSFEQDTFVE to human Bcl-2-like protein 1 isoform Bcl-X(S).

Bcl-2-like protein 1 is a single-pass membrane protein belonging to the Bcl-2 family of proteins that can act as anti- or pro-apoptotic regulators. At least 3 isoforms of Bcl-2-like protein 1 are produced by alternative splicing. Isoform Bcl-X(S) is expressed at high levels in cells that undergo a high rate of turnover such as developing lymphocytes and is an activator of apoptosis.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
