Generated by genetic immunization with CDNA encoding human CD66b based on recognition of the complete native protein expressed on transfected mammalian cells.

CEACAM8 belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) gene family. CEACAM8 is expressed in neutrophils and eosinophils and is characterized as a granulocyte-specific activation antigen. Antibody can be used to distinguish CEACAM8 from all other CEACAMs.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1.2ug/10e6 cells
ELISA: 1:200-1:400
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
