Recombinant human MUC18 (D1-D5) Fc protein

CD146 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed by all endothelial cells and by melanoma cells. CD146 appears to act as an adhesion molecule. Expression in melanoma may be linked to tumor progression.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, ELISA. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50. 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul.
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Immunohistochemistry Recommended Positive Control Tissue:
Melanoma

Hybridoma:
Spleen cells from immunized mice were fused with cells of the mouse Sp2/0 Ag.14 myeloma cell line.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
