Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, 0.1% BSA. Reconstitute with sterile PBS.

Dopamine was coupled to BSA

Applications:
The product may be used to localize dopaminergic neurons of substantia nigra and the A10 regions as well as dopaminergic nerve terminals of locus coeruleus. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Will depend upon the experimental conditions and may vary from 1:250-1:1000.
Antibody titer by dot blot is 1:500 using dopamine coupled to a carrier protein.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.

Note:
Since the antibodies are made to the BSA-conjugates, the use of BSA in all buffers and antibody diluents must be avoided.

Hybridoma:
Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
