Synthetic peptide corresponding to CELAEKMRRTSV, from human LRRK2, at the internal region (near the C-terminal) of the protein. Species Sequence Homology: bovine

May play a role in the phosphorylation of proteins central to Parkinson disease. Phosphorylates PRDX3. May also have GTPase activity.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunocytochemistry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA (Peptide): 1:64, 000
Western Blot: 0.3-1ug/ml using human brain
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 1-2ug/ml using human brain (hippocampus). Requires HIER using sodium citrate buffer pH 6.0
Immunocytochemistry: human neurons
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
