Description
GPR37L1 (G-protein coupled receptor 37-like 1), also called ETBR-LP-2 (endothelin B receptor-like protein 2), is a 481aa, orphan 7-transmembrane receptor with calculated molecular weight of 53kD. GPR37L1 is expressed in cerebellar Bergmann glia, cerebral cortex and internal capsule fibers in the central nervous system. It shows 39% aa identity with GPR37, a neuronal protein that accumulates in juvenile Parkinson’s disease neurons under endoplasmic reticulum stress. GPR37L1 does not bind known endothelin B family members. The extracellular portions of human and mouse GPR37L1 share 85% aa identity.

Application:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 25ug/ml. For intracellular staining of A172 cells to detect GPR37L1, cells must first be fixed and permeabilized using 4% paraformaldehyde and 0.1% saponin in PBS. Dilute P1799-03 to 25ug/ml and add 10ul of the diluted solution to 1-5x10e5 cells in a total reaction volume ≤200ul. A secondary antibody such as IgG (fluorochrome) anti-mouse can be used for visualization.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
