Description	Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Hepatocyte growth factor(HGF) detection. Tested with WB in Mouse.
Protein Function	Potent mitogen for mature parenchymal hepatocyte cells, seems to be a hepatotrophic factor, and acts as a growth factor for a broad spectrum of tissues and cell types. Activating ligand for the receptor tyrosine kinase MET by binding to it and promoting its dimerization. .

Immunogen	A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of mouse HGF (33-64aa QKKRRNTLHEFKKSAKTTLTKEDPLLKIKTKK), different from the related human sequence by five amino acids, and from the related rat sequence by one amino acid.
Purification	Immunogen affinity purified.

Storage	At -20?C for one year. After r?Constitution, at 4?C for one month. It?Can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20?C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
