Bio Background	The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor forinterleukin 2 (IL2), a cytokine that may be involved in epidermalfunction. The receptor of IL2 is a heterodimeric receptor complexconsisting of this protein and interleukin 2 receptor beta(IL2B). This gene and IL2B are highly expressed in skin. Theexpression of both genes is found to be upregulated in Psoriasis.
