Manufacturer - Targets	This ZWINT antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 59-88 amino acids from the Central region of human ZWINT.
Bio Background	ZWINT is clearly involved in kinetochore function although an exact role is not known. It interacts with ZW1, another kinetochore protein, possibly regulating the association between ZW1 and kinetochores. The protein localizes to prophase kinetochores before ZW1 does and it remains detectable on the kinetochore until late anaphase. It has a uniform distribution in the cytoplasm of interphase cells.
