Background	Cancer antigen 50 (CA50), a carcinoma associated carbohydrate antigen, was found to be elevated in the blood of patients with colorectal cancer and other malignancies. CA50 has been evaluated in various studies for use as a tumor marker for cancer diagnosis. Results showed that CA50 was marginally useful for the diagnosis and very useful for the follow-up study of patients with pancreatic cancer.

Reconstitution	Double distilled water is recommended to reconstitute the antibody.
Application info	Immuno-fluorescence stainning, Fluorescence flow cytometry, ELISA: Antibody, when used at 0.2ng/mL or higher concentration, can react with 1ug/mL CA50 coated ELISA plate wells.
