Target	FUNCTION: Gustducin-coupled receptor implicated in the perception of bitter compounds in the oral cavity and the gastrointestinal tract. Signals through PLCB2 and the calcium-regulated cation channel TRPM5. SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in subsets of taste receptor cells of the tongue and exclusively in gustducin-positive cells. MISCELLANEOUS: Several bitter taste receptors are expressed in a single taste receptor cell.

Applications info	IHC, WB. A dilution of 1 : 1000 is recommended. The optimal dilution should be determined by the end user.
Storage	Maintain the lyophilised/reconstituted antibodies frozen at -20C for long term storage and refrigerated at 2-8C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
