Store at 4°C for three months and -20°C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.

This gene encodes a member of the tripartite motif (TRIM)family. The TRIM motif includes three zinc-binding domains, a RING, a B-box type 1 and a B-box type 2, and a coiled-coil region. Thisprotein localizes to the nuclear matrix. It interacts with theenhancer of polycomb protein and represses gene transcription. Itis also thought to be involved in the differentiation of male germcells. Fusion of the N-terminus of this protein with the truncatedC-terminus of the RET gene product has been shown to result inproduction of the ret transforming protein.

This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

This TRIM27 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 453-482 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TRIM27.
