Product description
Malonylation of lysine is a newly identified reversible modification controlling protein activity. Sirt5, a regulatory enzyme for lysine malonylation, can catalyze lysine demalonylation reactions in vivo and in vitro. Through integrated proteomic approaches and biochemistry analysis, it has been found that lysine malonylation is widely distributed across various histones and non-histone substrates. Lysine malonylation may provide a new paradigm in cellular regulation, such as energy metabolism in diverse organisms.
Purification Method
Protein A and immunogen affinity purified
Manufacturer - Specificity
Anti-Malonyllysine Rabbit pAb detects proteins with malonylated lysine residues. This pan antibody recognizes malonylated lysine independent of its surrounding sequences.
Formula
PBS, Glycerol, BSA
PTM
Malonyl
Modification Site
Lys
Immunogen
Malonylated lysine peptides
