Protein Function	Docking protein which plays a central coordinating role for tyrosine kinase-based signaling related to cell adhesion. Implicated in induction of cell migration. Overexpression confers antiestrogen resistance on breast cancer cells.
Subcellular Localization	Cell junction, focal adhesion. Cytoplasm. Unphosphorylated form localizes in the cytoplasm and can move to the membrane upon tyrosine phosphorylation.
Description	The BCAR1 (Phospho-Tyr410) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor BCAR1 (Phospho-Tyr410) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of BCAR1 (Phospho-Tyr410) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on BCAR1 (Phospho-Tyr410).
Tissue Specificity	Widely expressed with an abundant expression in the testis. Low level of expression seen in the liver, thymus, and peripheral blood leukocytes. The protein has been detected in a B-cell line.
