Protein Function	Apoptotic adaptor molecule that recruits caspase-8 or caspase-10 to the activated Fas (CD95) or TNFR-1 receptors. The resulting aggregate called the death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation. Active caspase-8 initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases mediating apoptosis. Involved in interferon-mediated antiviral immune response, playing a role in the positive regulation of interferon signaling.
Description	The FADD (Phospho-Ser194) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor FADD (Phospho-Ser194) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of FADD (Phospho-Ser194) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on FADD (Phospho-Ser194).
