Protein Function	Beta-adrenergic receptors mediate the catecholamine- induced activation of adenylate cyclase through the action of G proteins. The beta-2-adrenergic receptor binds epinephrine with an approximately 30-fold greater affinity than it does norepinephrine.
Subcellular Localization	Cell membrane; Multi- pass membrane protein. Early endosome. Colocalizes with VHL at the cell membrane (PubMed:19584355). Activated receptors are internalized into endosomes prior to their degradation in lysosomes (PubMed:20559325).
Description	The Adrenergic Receptor B2 (Phospho-Ser355+Ser356) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor Adrenergic Receptor B2 (Phospho-Ser355+Ser356) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of Adrenergic Receptor B2 (Phospho-Ser355+Ser356) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on Adrenergic Receptor B2 (Phospho-Ser355+Ser356).
