Storage Conditions	Store at 2-8C.
Application Notes	Immediately prior to use as a capture antibody in ELISA, dilute this preparation to a concentration of 1 to 5 ug/ml in an appropriate buffer, and coat each well of a microtiter plate with 100 ul. Alternatively, the antibody may be diluted in buffered solution containing carrier protein such as phosphate buffered saline supplemented with 1% BSA. The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.
Description	IL-8 is a member of the CXC chemokine family and is one of the major mediators of the inflammatory response. This chemokine is secreted by several cell types, functions as a chemoattractant, and is also a potent angiogenic factor.
Formulation	Purified liquid solution in PBS, pH 7.5, with 0.05% Sodium Azide. Precaution: Sodium Azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Immunogen	Recombinant human IL-8
Purification	Protein A affinity purified.
Specificity	Recognizes natural and recombinant human IL-8.
