Description	Rabbit Anti-Human MAPK14 Affinity Purified polyclonal antibody. MAPK14 is the mammalian homologue of the yeast HOG kinase and participates in a cascade controlling cell cellular responses to cytokines and stress. Like the SAPK/JNK pathway, MAPK14 is activated by a variety of cellular stresses including inflammatory cytokines, UV light and growth factors, etc. Activated MAPK14 has been shown to phosphorylate and activate MAPKAPK2 and to phosphorylate the transcription factors ATF-2 and Max.
Formulation	Liquid in PBS + 30% glycerol + 0.5% BSA + 0.01% thimerosal. Precaution: Thimerosal is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
