Description	Tumor necrosis factor-beta (TNF-beta), also known as lymphotoxin-alpha (LT-alpha) is a potent lymphoid factor that exerts cytotoxic effects on a wide range of tumor cells and certain other target cells. TNF-beta possesses a signal peptide sequence and is a secreted protein, however, TNF-beta is also present on the surface of activated T, B and LAK cells as a complex with LT-beta. Bioactive TNF-beta exists as a homotrimer. The 359-238-8 antibody can neutralize the bioactivity of natural or recombinant human TNF-beta.
Formulation	This antibody is provided in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
