Formulation
100 ug purified material in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
Specificity
The antibody is expressed on lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes and macrophages with increase in levels on memory T cells. CD11a or LFA-1 has a key role in mediating leukocyte adhesion to endothelium during inflammatory responses through binding to ICAM-1 (CD54). Other ligands are ICAM-2 and ICAM-3. It is also involved in many T cell functions and immune phenomena.
