Immunogen	in vitro, activated B-cells.
Specificity	Cdw78 is present on some immature and some mature B cells. Its expression is greatly increased after B-cell activation, in vitro, (Kikutani et al. 1986). It is also found on tissue macrophages and on epithelial cells, but not on T cells, NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes and myeloid tissues (Dorken et al. 1989). One MoAb was shown to inhibit B cell proliferation. Source: A BALB/c mouse was immunized and SP2/0 cells were used for fusion with splenocytes.
