Manufacturer - Applications	Immunohistochemistry on cultured cells: strongly positive on ethanol fixed epithelial cells. Immunohistochemistry on frozen ethanol fixed section. Immunohistochemistry on paraffin section: very strong positive reaction with ethanol fixed tissues. On formalin postfixed tissues, a protease pretreatment is recommended. mAb crossreacts with mucin of monkey, cat, rabbit, pig, hedgehog and bird. Immunoblottting: strongly positive without a-mercaptoethanol pretreatment of mucin solution.
