Antibodies

ELISA: By direct ELISA, use 100 il/well antibody solution at a concentration of at least 0.5 ig/ml. This antibody in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents allows the detection of 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant human TGF-alpha. Western Blot: By Western Blot, use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ig/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible rabbit secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant human TGF-alpha is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition (Neutralization Dose50) of the biological activity of human TGF-alpha (2 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.1 - 0.15 ig/ml of this antibody is required. The optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.

Lyophilized from a sterile-filtered antibody solution (1 mg/ml) containing 0.5x PBS, pH 7.2.
