Application Notes	For Western Blotting and Immunohistochemistry, dilutions to be used depend on detection system applied.Typical starting working dilution is 1:10, however, the optimal concentration should be determined by the user for each specific application.Do not add any sodium azide or nitric-containing preservative to this antibody.
Description	This highly specific monoclonal antibody reacts with nitrotyrosine, both with the free aminoacid as well as with proteins containing nitrotyrosine. The presence of nitrotyrosine has been detected in various inflammatory processes including atherosclerotic placques. Nitrotyrosine is formed in tissues in presence of the active metabolite NO and is a stable end product of nitrosylation of tyrosine. Various pathways including the formation of peroxinitrite lead to nitrotyrosine production.
Formulation	0.5 ml (100 ug/ml) 0.2 uM filtered sterile biotinylated antibody solution in PBS, containing 0.1% BSA.
