Description	Purification: Purified from rabbit serum by Protein G chromatography. Purity: >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis. Immunogen: Recombinant porcine IL-8. Specificity: This antibody recognizes porcine IL-8. IL-8 has been characterized as aneutrophil-activating protein (NAP-1) with biological effects similar to knownchemotactic substances such as the plasma-derived anaphylatoxin C5a, the cell derived chemotaxis leukotriene B4 (LTB4) and platelet activating factor (PAF). Species reactivity: Porcine. Not reactive to human. Other species were not tested.
