Formulation	50 ul undiluted, freeze-dried antiserum. Dissolve the antiserum in 50-100 uL distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3.
Immunogen	Calcitonin gene-related peptide (synthetic, rat) conjugated to BSA. Tested on human and rat tissues.
Specificity	Positive control: Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of rat colon. Absorption with 10-100 ug CGRP per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining while calcitonin, SP and NKA do not. Cross-reacts with amylin (IAPP).
