Storage Conditions	Store freeze-dried product at 4-8C C. until expiration date. After reconstituted in small aliquots at -20C.
Cross-Reactivity	Does not cross-react with amylin (IAPP).
Formulation	50 ul undiluted, freeze-dried antiserum. Dissolve the antiserum in 50-100 uL distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3.
Immunogen	Calcitonin gene-related peptide (synthetic, rat), conjugated to BSA. Tested on human, mouse and rat tissues.
Specificity	Positive control: Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of rat colon. Absorption with 10-100 ug CGRP per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining, while calcitonin does not. Does not cross-react with amylin (IAPP).
