Description	Recombinant Human globular ACRP-30 is a natural product produced when processed from the full length adiponectin molecule. Produced by adipocytes, this plasma protein exists in high concentrations (0.05%) as a serum protein. ACPR-30 plays an important role in hyperclycemia and insulin resistance. Recombinant Human ACRP-30 is a non-glycosylated polypeptide consisting of 145 amino acids.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 10 mM Tris, pH 8.0 + 0.75 mM DTT at a concentration of 1 mg/ml.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Add sterile 5 mM Tris, pH 8.0 + 0.75 mM DTT to a concentration of 0.1 mg/ml, and then further dilute to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity	Activity is determined by the ability to inhibit the proliferation of mouse M1 cells. The expected ED50 for this effect is 1.0-2.5 ug/ml.
