Description
Human Macrophage-Derived Chemokine (MDC) is a unique member of the CC chemokine family. Human MDC is highly expressed in macrophages and in monocyte-derived dendritic cells, but not in monocytes, natural killer cells, or several cell lines of epithelial, endothelial, or fibroblast origin. Human MDC is an 8.0 kDa protein containing 67 amino acid residues.
Biological Activity
Determined by its ability to chemoattract human T cells using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.
