Native human Lys plasmin immobilized on agarose resin by coupling of primary amines. Plasmin retains catalytic activity when coupled and may be used to efficiently activate single-chain tPA and uPA to the two-chain form. It may also be used to convert plasminogen from its native Glu form to the Lys form by removing the first 77 amino acids.
Formulation
Resin from a buffer of 0.1 M HEPES + 0.1 M NaCl + 0.02% sodium azide, pH 7.4. Precaution: Sodium azide is a poisonous and hazardous substance which should be handled by trained staff only.
