Description
Human Cathepsin G is a serine protease, of the peptidase S1 protein family, located in the azurophil granules of neutrophils. Studies have shown that human cathepsin G when released from granulocytes binds to NK cells and augments NK cytotoxicity through its protease activity.
Formulation
Lyophilized from 25 mM sodium acetate, pH 5.5 + 0.15M NaCl buffer.
Specificity
One unit will hydrolyze one micromole of Succinyl-alanine-alanine-propline-phenylalanine-p-nitroanilide per minute at 37C and pH 7.5.
