Description	Human [Leu27]IGF-II is an analog of human IGF-II which has Leu in place of Tyr at position 27 of the IGF-II amino acid sequence. Compared to human IGF-II, human [Leu27]IGF-II has a 10-20 fold reduced affinity for the Type 1 IGF receptor.
Biological Activity	Type 1 IGF receptor binding assay: ED50 > 175 ng/ml. Type 2 IGF receptor binding assay: ED50 < 371 ng/ml. IGF binding protein assay: ED50 < 10 ng/ml.
