Short Description	ELISA kit for the quantification of human/monkey IgA antibodies against porcine type I collagen in human/monkey serum samples. This kit uses TMB as the chromagen.
Background	The Collagen-Induced Arthritis (CIA) monkey model uses injections of complete Freund's adjuvant (CFA) emulsified with heterologous type II collagen to induce autoimmune-mediated arthritis. Unlike type II collagen, immunization with type I collagen cannot induce autoimmune-mediated diseases, making it an ideal control for autoimmune mediated arthritis models. This kit allows for characterization of the immune response elicited by immunization of porcine type I collagen in monkeys.
