Description	Annexin A1 is a member of the annexin family, a group of phospholipid-binding membrane proteins that plays a role in both the innate and adaptive immune system. Its plays an important role in controlling inflammation, prostaglandins, and leukotriene mediators. Annexin A1 is overexpressed in 97% of hairy cell leukemia samples, and is absent in other B cell lymphomas.
