Description	CDX-2 (Caudal type homeobox 2) is a transcription factor expressed by intestinal epithelial cells, and is a used as a marker for gastrointestinal carcinoma. Anti-CDX-2 antibodies can be used to differentiate lung and metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma. Additionally, many acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients have also report to express CDX-2 ectopically.
