Description	Col4 (Collagen Type IV) is a major component in the basal lamina, and is used as a marker for examining the lamina’s structure. Anti-Collagen Type IV antibodies also stain mesenchymal components, and is useful for identification of soft tissue cancers such as schwannomas and leiomyomas.
