Description	Measurement of Rat GIP (Active) in plasma samples Supplementary: Sandwich Applicable Sample: rat plasma (EDTA-2Na + DPP-4 inhibitor) The incretin hormones, glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) and glucagons-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), are a group of gastrointestinal hormones that cause an increase in the amount of insulin released from the beta cells of the islets of Langerhans after ingestion of food.This ELISA kit has high specificity to rat GIP (1-42) active form and shows no crossreactivity to rat GIP (3-42)inactive form. Assay range: 3.9-250 pg/mL Kit Characteristics: The assay runningtime: 3.5 hr. Maximum measurable samples: 40 in duplicate Test sample (size): Rat plasma (50 uL) The kit can be used dividedly in strips. Intra-assay CV (%):7.1-7.5 Inter-assay CV (%): 2.1-4.6
