sAPPbeta ELISA Kits (human, mouse, rat, rabbit)

High sensitivity detection of sAPPß in cell culture medium and biological fluids. Assay ranges 0.5-60pg/ml depending on species. Detects the soluble beta-secretase cleavage product of amyloid precursor protein in cell culture medium and biological fluids after sedimentation of cells. Assays are done in the supernatant fraction to quantitate sAPPß.
This ELISA kit also detects full length APP in cell and tissue lysates after detergent solubilization from the membrane. To distinguish sAPPß from membrane bound APP, use the sample preparation method noted above (i.e. collect and assay the supernatant fraction without membrane solubilization).
Rapid assay with colorimetric detection (measure reaction at 450nm). Total incubation of sample with ELISA plate and HRP detection antibody is 1 hr at 37C or 2 hr at RT.
