Peptide with sequence GGPARSPSASTNC from the N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_036317. Notes: Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32 000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 27kDa band in Human Kidney and Liver lysates at 1ug/ml. Further this band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunising peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the predicted size of approx. 57kDda according to NP_036317. Summary: This protein belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The function of this gene has not yet been determined. [1] Wiese S.
