Recognises Methaqualone a sedative drug similar to barbiturates. It also has anti-convulsant antispasmodic anaesthetic and antihistamines properties. It was used in the 1960\' s and 1970\' s as a barbiturate substitute for the treatment of insomnia and as a sedative and muscle relaxant. It has since been withdrawn from many developed markets and is no longer legally produced. It is used illegally as a recreational drug leading to tolerance dependence and withdrawal symptoms. It may be combined with diphenhydramine cannabis or tobacco and smoked to give a feeling of trance-like euphoria. The practice poses a serious heath risk and may lead to emphysema and other chronic lung disorders. Recommended Secondary Antibodies: Rabbit Anti Sheep IgG (H/L)Donkey Anti Sheep IgG 1.
